I am a Virginia Beach family and portrait photographer creating images for families, couples, maternity, milestones, and individual portraits throughout coastal Virginia — most often at the beach, in local parks, or wherever your family feels most at home.

Sessions I offer

Beyond family portraits, I photograph maternity sessions, couples and anniversary portraits, milestone and “growing up” sessions, and individual portraits. Sessions take place throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and the surrounding Hampton Roads area.

  • How much does a family photography session cost in Virginia Beach?

    Family sessions in the area generally range from $300 to $700 depending on the needs of the client.

  • What should we wear for family photos?

    I send a styling guide when you book. In short: coordinate without matching exactly, stick to a simple palette, and dress for the location. I am happy to advise on specific outfits.

  • When is the best time of day for photos at the beach?

    Golden hour — the hour or so before sunset — gives the softest light and the best Virginia Beach backdrops. I will recommend a start time when you book.

  • Do you photograph maternity, newborns, or extended family?

    Yes. Just let me know who and what we’re celebrating and we’ll plan the right session.

  • How long until we get our photos?

    Your edited gallery is delivered within 2 weeks, with a sneak peek sooner when we can.
