Hello! I’m Andrew, the founder and creative force behind Captured in VA. With over a decade of experience in cinematic storytelling, I’ve filmed many weddings and corporate events across the United States. Mostly in Arizona, but many as well in the Hampton Roads area including Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Northern Virginia. My journey began as a photographer about 15 years ago. My years in photography taught me the importance of visual communication. As the digital landscape evolved, I recognized an increasing demand for video content from my clients that offers deeper engagement and a more comprehensive message.
Transitioning to videography was a strategic move to better serve my clients’ evolving needs, providing them with powerful, dynamic tools to connect with their audiences in today’s visually-driven world. I wanted to ensure what I could offer met my clients needs. Crafting wedding films that capture authentic moments and corporate event videos that bring brands to life. Passionate about blending creativity with professionalism, I leverage cutting-edge equipment and unwavering dedication to deliver polished, heartfelt work every time. One thing I love to do is travel. For the past ten years, I’ve made it a personal mission to travel to at least one new country each year—always with my camera in hand. From the vibrant streets of Italy, to the quiet beauty of Iceland’s landscapes, my lens has captured cultures, colors, and moments that shape how I see the world. My journey has taken me through the coastlines of Portugal, and the serene beahes of Turks & Caicos. Whether exploring a bustling city or a hidden corner of the world, I’m always seeking the stories that unfold in between—and it’s through photography that I get to tell them. Next on my list is Greece!
